Summary: One of the prominent aspects of this collection was, of course, the symbolism: red tees silkscreened with the hammer, sickle & star that formerly adorned the flag of the USSR (the hammer symbolizing the working lumpen proletariat, the sickle representing agricultural workers & the star the rule of the Communist Party), Muslim mens' hats, Bedouin'esque headgear & robes, and even a few Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy caps for good measure. However, the drapey yet feminine layers in military drab hues of olive, khaki, blackened burgundy & army green (rendered in silk lurex that looked like almost like plastic & futuristically cool) - made for an effortless and comfortable way to sail through spring stylishly.
