“Rainier View Adult RV Park” in Graham, Washington - was rated: 8

Since this park is off the beaten path the majority of the rigs are full timers. There are always sites for short stays and all have a wonderful view of Mt. Rainier. The park is safe, clean, and has great, friendly managers. A home away from home for anyone staying in the Graham, Mt. Rainier area.

This is a great park, big gravel sites with grass between. Lovely Club house and laundry, only thing-we went under our Passport America and got the site on the road across from the gravel pile and maintainance shed, where all the full timers that live in the back drive through. It was pretty obvious, out of 100 sites only about 10 were occupied and all were at the other end of the park from us! I guess you get what you pay for! Silverton area is worth seeing!

This is a nice park, our experience may [we hope] not be the norm. Our reservations, made in person, 30 days before our arrival date, were lost. This was the week before Memorial Day, we had planned to stay the whole week. The staff admitted that our reservations were lost when furnished with our print out of the same, but refused to honor our choice of site listed on the reservation, telling us that they had someone coming the next day for that site. We have a large 5th wheel, the site we had to settle for was too small for our RV and our truck, we had to park that on an overflow lot, which was behind our site and occupied by other vehicles until we were able to bully our way in for a spot. We did not have 50 amp electricity as promised. The paved site was uneven enough that we had to use our large boards to level the RV. The crowning blow to us was that the site we had been promised when we made our reservations was only occupied briefly during our week stay. The staff, consisting of one young girl, was out of her element when we arrived and unable to cope with our lost reservations, she said we had to wait for the manager to arrive, we waited and she still had not arrived 30 minutes after her “time she gets here” and the Maintainence Man suggested the site we accepted because we were tired of waiting. This is undoubtably the best RV Park in the Cannon Beach, Seaside OR area, and we will stay there again because the rest are unexceptable, but we will double check everything and make sure they have our reservations before we leave to go and advise all to do the same.

“The Lakes RV & Golf Resort” in Chowchilla, California - was rated: 7

This is a very new campground. We stayed here about 2 weeks in our 45′ RV. This is a nice facility, but with new opening ‘growing pains’. We think most of these will pass with time. A decent place to stay if visiting Yosemite Park, about 2 and 1/2 hours away. Not much else to do in the area, except play golf. The golf course is only 3 blocks away and was simple, but fun.

Nice clean park. Layout a little tight for larger rigs in some places. Sites very close together with layout of sites confusing with picnic tables on back side of trailers. Most sites require leveling, many have shade and grass. Clean park. Facilities 100 yards from main lodging with pool and restaurants with good food. Electric and sewer both good with no problems.

Great quiet, clean and one of the best campgrounds you can stay in - we stayed here last year too when traveling and will continue to make a point to come back. We love and believe in all that they represent.

A Good off the beaten path RV park espcially for golfers. We paid for the month $350 and got to play all the golf we wanted FREE. The other review said $5 but this year the golf is FREE. There is a small pond where a family of canadian geese were teaching babies to follow mom. They were there alot. We came here a few years ago and it was a rough field with no people and high grass. Now the field is kept very nice and all is clean. There was a campground host. Very nice and helpful and I can not say enough for the owner. She even told us about an impending storm and said she would personally come over to tell us if the weather report said the storm would get worse. There is no cable but access to satellite and cell phones is excellent. They have so many reservations that they are again expanding this summer. They had a social time 2 times a week even in summer and more in winter. I would have rated it a 10 if there was cable or wi-fi.

I agree with the other review. The whole place seems unhappy and the office staff, in my opinion, are what changed the once nice campground into a place of almost last resort. The golf course needs lots of work but it was not hard to get a tee time since there is not a lot of outside play. It is not comfortable to come into the restaurant any longer. This used to be one of my definite stops when in Florida but it is not fun any longer. The activities are mostly non-existent and hardly anyone came to the one they had while we were there. It was put on by the office staff and they do not make people feel welcome. I think that the owner does still care but she is not around a whole lot so probably does not know the general feeling about her staff.

We have camped at this park many times. This is a pristine campground extremely well maintained on beautiful Lake Chickamauga. The showerhouse/restrooms are cleaned/sanitized each morning, the trash is picked up from nice trashbins each morning. It is well patrolled also. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Campfires are allowed. Sites are roomy and inviting.

This place is pretty good! some of the roads coming in were tight, but not bad at all! The park is very clean and easily managed with a big rig. The office was freindly. We are in the upper campground which is open field with pull thru sites made out of crushed stone and we have full hook up. No privacy. Also I have a Cingular cell phone and a Verizon phone. the Cingular phone has ne service at all. The Verizon phone has 3 bars and connects good but drops every call! I will come back when I do not need phone. We stayed in a 40′ Motorhome.
